Start from Europe

Arrival early in the morning in Manas Airport. Transfer to Bishkek (the old name is Frunze), the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Rest in the hotel. City tour of Bishkek with visiting Central Ala-Too square, Oak Park, a walk along the Alley of the Youth next to Philarmonic Hall, a visit to Victory Square and Panfilov park. Dinner and Overnight in Bishkek.

Breakfast. Transfer to Chon – Kemin Nature Park to the start point of the trek to the gorge Tory-Aigyr (180 km, about 3 hours). Meeting with the local team with horses for luggage. Start the trekking up to the gorge Tory-Aigyr about 4-5 hours from altitude 1750m up to the gorge to 2520 m. Here you can see a unique spectacle – meadows, full of edelweiss. Stay overnight in tents (2520m).

Breakfast. The walk takes you about 2hours up to the pass Tory-Aigyr (2790 m). Descent down to the valley to cross the river to altitude of (2519m), and after trek up about 2 hours to the second small pass (2780m). Have a packed lunch at the pass with the nice view to the lake from the top of the pass. Trekking towards the mountain Lake Kol-Kogur (Kol-Tor) about 1 hour. The lake is a magnificent spectacle in the bright sunshine. It looks like a sapphire set amongst a vast array of silver, snow-covered mountains. Stay overnight in tents by the lake (2480 m above sea level).

Breakfast. Trekking up to the pass and over the pass Kol-Kogur (3350 m) about 4 hours. The path passes through alpine meadows where, in summer, local people live with their families and livestock. Picnic. Trekking down for 790m. till the place with drinkable water.  Stay overnight in tents by the river (2560 m above sea level).

Breakfast. Trekking up to the gravel road about 2 km to altitude 2560 m and after trek down to the mouth of Kol-Tor valley about 3 hours to altitude of  2100 m. Picnic for lunch. Meeting with car at the end of the valley Koll tor about 5 km before the main road. Transfer to the Kyz – Art Village (190 km) via Northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake. On the way, in Kochkor village visit to felt workshop where the local women produce the goods of felt. Accommodation and dinner with the family in Kyzart.

Breakfast. Start with driving towards Kilemche Jailoo. After rest and lunch at Kilemche walking to Jaldyz Karagai pass  about 2-3 hours (3320 m), over the Song-Kul Mountains and into the lake’s basin. The climb affods wonderful views of Kilemche jailoo, and the pass itself rocky and exciting. From the pass, Song-Kol is still distant, but as you traipse down the slopes, it gets larger and larger; the mountains on the other side get higher and higher, until finally the lake fills most of your field of view and the southern mountains tower above it. Walking down to the yurt camp about 1 hour. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.

Full day on Son-Kul Lake. Observing traditional shepherds life, walking on surrounding hills. Optionally possible to take a horse riding. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.

Breakfast. Transfer to the Kochkor village. The road goes over the Kalmak Ashu pass (3447 m).  Lunch in Kochkor. Visiting woman group who is producing traditional nomad’s carpets from the felt which call “Shiyrdak’” and “Ala Kiiz”. Preparing to the trekking at Family guesthouse. Dinner and overnight in the Family guesthouse.

Breakfast. Transfer to Issakeev village to the Kol Ukok gorge (about 30 km-1 hour). Meet the horses and local trekking staff. Start the trekking to Ukok lake about 4-5 hours. The trail goes along the Ukok valley over the small pass Kichi Ukok 3130 m. Tent camp at the shore of Ukok lake. The shepherds come to the pastures of the lake for the summer time with the cattls

Breakfast. Trekking to Tuura-beshik About 2 hours. Cross the small river. Lunch. Trekking over the Ukok Pass (3519 m). From the pass the panorama of the mountains will amaze you. The pass is rocky. Trekking down to Mazar Ukok valley about 2-3 hours. On the way you will cross the small river.  Overnight in the Mazar ukok valley in tents by the river

Breakfast. Trekking up to the Sary-Bel pass 3860 m above sea level about 1-2 hours. On the way it is possible to see the marmots, Golden eagle and at the pass possible to see the trails of the Ibex. The pass is rocky in Some places you could still see the glacier. Picnic for lunch. Descent to the Taldy gorge about 2-3 hours. On the way you will cross the river about 2 times. Overnight in the tents by Taldy river.

Breakfast. Trekking down along the river Taldy to the valley of Tura Suu about 16 km. On the way you could meet the local shepherd and see the Yaks. Meet with the car at the junkshion of Taldy and Tura-Suu valleys and transfer to the yurt camp in Tura-Suu. Overnight in the Yurt camp.

Breakfast. Transfer to Bishkek about 350 km, 5-6 hours of the driving. The road goes via Boom canyon.  On the way visit Burana tower, the remaining of ancient town (11 c). Lunch on the way. Dinner in the restaurant. Optionally folklore show during the dinner. Accommodation in the hotel Asia Mountains or similar.
